This year, the oklahoma state fair ran from Sept 17 to the 27th. The weather was perfect except it rained just about every night that week. Casey and I went together and then we met up with my sister Robyn and her husband Dewayne and my brother Chris while Rory stayed at home with my mom (don't worry, I promised I would take her next year).
I could not wait to go!! I was so excited and had been looking foward to it all year. I didn't get to do anything but walk around and eat last year since I was 9 months pregnant at the time. I remember leaving the hospital the last day of the fair with Rory and seriously contemplated making Casey stop so I could have one last cinnamon roll.. mmm :) For obvious reasons, I didn't get one.. I more than made up for that this year though.
We had just about everything the fair had to offer in the way of food..
Let's see, we had:
Roasted Corn,
Chicken on a Stick,
Fudge dipped Cheesecake with caramel, sprinkles, and graham crackers :),
Funnel Cake,
Fried Oreos and Fried Snickers!

This ride looked really scary, but was pretty fun.
How could you not love the fair?!
And then there's this.. I think everyone called it quits after we ate this. We had such a good time and I wanted to go back over and over but planning Rory's first birthday was about all I had time to do being as it was on the last day of the fair. I can't wait for next year!
